Sometimes life gets in the way and bad things happen to good people and now Kia's has to find a new home. She belongs to a Handyman who does Odds and ends kind of work around the Nashville, TN area. He is having to move And cannot find a place that will allow him to have dogs. This generous and kind Man took in this pretty girl when he found her abandoned near a job he was working on. Handyman’s Kia is a healthy 8-9 year old Yellow Lab mix girl that would do a lot better with a few pounds less. That's happens when you share steak biscuits and dinner with your Handyman owner too often ;-) Kia is house trained and sleeps on her dog bed at night. She doesn’t have a lot of reasons to know How to walk on a leash but she does OK when forced to comply. She has never really gone anywhere outside the yard. The hyper puppy stage is long behind her and she would be great if you are looking for a calmer dog to spend your easier less active years with. She is a bit shy and does need you toapproach her calmly to get to know you first. She is sharing those steak biscuits right now with Spike a Shepherd mix and they are doing fine. Handyman’s Kia is not very fond of cats or so we are told.
