Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This gorgeous Blue Heeler in his twilight years is looking for someone(s) to share their next adventures with him. Ranger is a devoted companion with a wide range of interests including nature walks, hardcore snuggling, and hanging out with his family. At twelve years old he has no hip/joint issues and a fully lush shiny coat. His eyes are big and sweet and he has the softest tummy. Ranger has recently begun a healthy lifestyle of better eating and exercise in hopes of shedding a few of the extra pounds. He believes in putting his best paw forward and knows that if he can keep it right around 50 lbs he will be a loyal friend for many more years to come. He is currently vetted and stamped with approval. He gets along well with other dogs, cats and all kinds of people if introduced properly. Ranger is alert to unfamiliar sounds and will be the first to know should someone sneaky get too close to his family.
What Ranger is looking for:
~ A nice yard to lay in while you work in the garden nearby.
~ Not too much traffic. He is currently in his Brooklyn foster home by way of Tennessee and this country boy really prefers greener pastures.
~Someone(s) with a comfortably relaxed lifestyle and a little time to share.
Some of Rangers Dislikes include:
~Bicycles and Large Urban Stroller Monsters
~Walking in heavily trafficked areas; city intersections, city streets
~The City.
