My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ANNABELLE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Pal's Place would love to introduce our precious and tiny little Apple, an adorable, friendly and social Dachshund mix pup looking for a forever home! Apple was born on 6/13/15 and was rescued from an animal control facility in southern IL with her mother and 6 littermates. Her mom, Sophie, is an 11 pound Doxie/Chihuahua mix and her father was a Pug mix. Apple is 9 weeks old right now and is only a little over a pound right now! Apple is the runt of the litter, but definitely has the biggest personality! She's bold, curious, fearless and very friendly. Apple loves to meet new humans and canines and smothers new friends in kisses. Apple loves everyone, but because of her tiny stature, she is fragile and could easily be harmed accidentally by very young children. We will not place Apple into a home with children younger than 12 years old for her safety. Apple and her littermates picked up a mild ringworm infection from their mother. Ringworm is a fungus and it is common to see animals from more rural areas be affected. Ringworm is generally harmless, but it does lead to itching and some hair loss. Apple and her siblings are currently undergoing treatment and will be available to leave for their forever homes once they've completed their treatment plan the last weekend of August(8/28). Apple or any of her littermates will make wonderful companions for any household with the time for a young puppy. She will also be spayed and microchipped before being placed and will have had at least two series of puppy vaccines. Her adoption donation of $375 helps to cover her medical expenses while in our care. For more info or for an application, please email palsplace1@hotmail.com

• Apple's adoption donation is $375. This donation helps to cover her spay, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Apple from euthanasia.

• Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application and please put the name of the dog in the subject line. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder; sometimes the applications end up in there!

• All of our dogs are in foster homes are can be seen BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, after an approved application has been received. To receive more info please email palsplace1@hotmail.com. Email is the preferred method of contact and is the quickest way to receive a response. We cannot place holds on our dogs, please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.
