Benji's Story...
Benji is a sweet boy who was surrendered by his owner when she moved into a building that did not allow dogs. However, this sudden life change hasn’t broken this pup’s spirit! If you’re looking for a new best friend and sidekick, Benji is your guy. He loves walks and meeting new friends in the neighborhood. Benji is always happy as long as you’re around and makes a loyal companion. He would love a home where his owners are home a lot. Benji adores belly rubs, walks, and treats. Bonus: he doesn’t shed and enjoys baths! Benji deserves a second chance and promises to be a faithful companion in return. Could he be the one for you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benji, a Chicago Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
