Facts about Sarah Belle

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Gray Or Blue (Mostly)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 28564022
  • Hair: Short
This lovely lady has a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia. Her cerebellum was not fully developed when she was born and so now she walks a little different than most cats. This condition is not contagious, she is not in any pain and she can live a long life just like any other cat. She uses a large low sided litter box perfectly, eats dry and wet food just fine and can get on and off a futon by herself.

She has been curious but not too keen on the resident cats in her foster home so it is recommended she be adopted as an only cat. She has not been tested with dogs or kids but she is a dilute tortoiseshell and has a bit of a 'tortitude' so she needs a home with no small children, older kids that can respect her boundaries should be fine.

She has not shown much interest in toys. Loves to get scratched on her head and ears on her terms and does not like to be pet on her body. She will give love nips and they can sometimes be a little hard, another reason for a home with no small children. She has some pretty quirky meows and loves sunbeams.

Sarah Belle is in foster care so please call the shelter to get more information on her or to get in touch with her foster mom for a visit.

About Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic

About Our Shelter...

Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic is a non-profit, no-kill cat shelter and low-cost spay/neuter clinic.
Our spay/neuter clinic performs surgeries on both cats & dogs, and we also offer low-cost vaccination clinics every week.

Our organization's goal is to do everything in our power to prevent euthanasia due to 'homelessness'.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our shelter is open Monday thru Friday from 10am - 6pm and Saturday & Sunday from 10am - 5pm.

We are located on the southwest corner of Mulberry and Timberline on the frontage road.

Our Adoption Process...

Adopters must first fill out an adoption questionaire. The questionaire is a way for us to get to know the potential adopter, and help pick out the purr-fect companion for them.

Once the application is approved, and adoption contract is filled out.
