My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bentlee. 4mos. DOB 4-15. Female terrier mix

HI!! My name is Bentlee. I am a female terrier mix, approximately 4 months of age and I weigh 10 lbs. I am still growing and I still have my baby teeth. I would describe myself as loyal, lovable, curious, smart and busy!

I absolutely love people; especially those that give me attention, treats, and belly rubs. When I trust you I will follow you wherever you go! A perfect day for me includes walks on a leash, learning new tricks for treats, playing tug of war with my ropes and chewing on my squeaker ball. When I am tired I retreat to my crate where my toys are hidden or I like to lay next to you.

I am a bundle of energy that would benefit from more obedience training, someone that can give me attention daily and a warm bed to call my own. I am not fully potty trained but I have made great improvements and I continue to get better everyday.

I get along well with other dogs and enjoy playing and running around in circles. Sometimes I can be a bit rambunctious and I am working on my social skills. I would do well with other animals in the home and would do well with respectable children. My foster mom thinks I would thrive in a home with or without other animals, as long as there is plenty of toys and activities.

If you think I would be a good fit for your family and you can provide me with a forever home please email twylasfriends@yahoo.com.

*****If you would like more information about the dog featured above, be sure to send a note to the "Contact Person." This is the person fostering the dog and they will be happy to answer any questions you have. Please don't just show up at Adoption Day expecting every dog to be there. We are limited by the number of volunteers who can help at each Adoption Day.
Also, in sending your note to the Contact Person, be sure to include information about yourself, family, home, yard, fence, other pets, work situation, and pet accommodations. This information will help us make the best match between you and one of our dogs***
