Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Monkey is an adorable, smart and playful, two-year-old, 15-pound, male Boston Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian.
Little Monkey was rescued off the streets of Kentucky, and was transferred to a foster home in Chicago. He is learning all about city and family-living. He loves cuddling on couches and playing ball.
Monkey is fabulous with kids (his foster home has four, ages 5-13) and he adores women. He can be tentative around new people - especially men - warming up to some but not others. Monkey LOVES other dogs including his foster dog sister, a female Pit Bull. He enjoys playing, cuddling and doing just about anything with her.
Monkey is crate-trained, house-trained when kept on a strict schedule. He is a quick learner who already knows how to “sit,” and “dance” for treats. His favorite thing to do is cuddling with his favorite humans, and will sit for hours with anyone who lets him! He would love a person of his own who works from home or is home more often than not.
To meet and possibly adopt Monkey, please contact Janice at jb@TailsInc.com or 773.564.9300. He is healthy, neutered, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. His adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued pets.
He is being fostered in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood
