Hi there! My name is Speckles and my Pointer/Lab genes make me all about action and togetherness! I love to be with my person, family and doggie friends. I love a good chewy bone and some treats too! And I love to get my picture taken because I think I am very HANDSOME! I’m up for adventures away from home (car rides are awesome!) but I also love playing ‘chase’ in the yard with my friends. I get along great with adults, kids and other dogs.

I’d be happiest in a home with at least one other canine friend to play with and/or where someone is home a lot. There’s been a lot of uncertainty in my life so being alone makes me rather anxious. If someone can love me, give me a pretty consistent routine, and help me manage the times when I get anxious – I promise to give tons of love back in return! I am very sweet and affectionate and love to get petted.

I could use a little patience when it comes to being on a leash. My nose gets a smell and my legs want to TRACK IT! I’m working on slowing down and ‘stopping to smell the roses’ and all. I’m also working on house-training and I think I will get it real soon.
