Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jackson is one cool customer. Born 5/27/2005, he’s a Bichon Frise who absolutely adores people. He’s an easygoing sweetheart who loves to chill out and relax. He’d prefer to be the only dog at home as he might get jealous seeing other animals vying for your attention — attention is really all he wants, and when he gets it he is happy as a clam.
In fact, if we didn’t know any better, we’d think Jackson was part kitten. His signature move is rubbing up against the legs and practically begging for a belly rub. He can be protective of certain people he really likes and will show off his affection in a group setting, but he’s not at all insecure. He’d be happy to spend a lazy day sitting in bed, head in lap, waiting to be petted.
Because he’s so easygoing, Jackson would do great in a city home, and can be with children given his size and calm aura. He’d probably even mix well with cats -- given his tendency to act like one.
