Macey's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Macey's Story...
Macey is 7 years old and this is her second time her. Macey came in as a stray very scared kitten almost 7 years ago. Her owner took great care of her and she now loves attention. Macey is back here because her elderly owner had to go into a nursing home. Macey is very sweet but shy. She needs a quiet home with no kids or dogs. Macey would be fine with another cat. Macey is use to living the quiet life with just one other person and no other pets, so being back her has been a little hard on her. If you are the perfect place for Macey please come and see her today. Though she isn't a senior cat we are adopting her out as such. All our senior cats are just donations, we hope this helps this beauty find a loving home very soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Macey, a Springfield Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Springfield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
