Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ace a special boy who has lots of love to share. He is about 2 yrs old, around 45 lbs and we believe he is part Jack Russell terrier and lab mix. We know it's an odd combo!!
Ace is a tri-paw (3 leg dog). He was found wondering the streets with a gun shot wound to his back leg. Unfortunately the leg was no longer viable and had to be removed. If you watch the video of him you will see it doesn't slow him down one bit! We don't know where Ace came from or why he was shot. We also can't fathom why or how anyone could have done those things to him. He is the sweetest dog, never shown any aggression or offered to harm anyone. After all Ace has been through he does enjoy the comforts of home. Whole he rides well in a car he does get very anxious at times. He loves going for walks and meeting new people. His favorite holiday is Christmas and he expects to have his own stocking filled with toys and treats. Ace's least favorite holiday is 4th of July. Fireworks sound like guns and that scares him so prefers to stay tucked away in his crate where it's quite.
Ace is also house trained. He's lived with other dogs but would be best suited as an only dog or with a very calm laid back dog. He is very gentle with small children and has excellent house manners. This fella is really an all around wonderful dog and I can't say enough good things about him. He will make someone or a family very happy to have him in their lives.
