found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Two isn’t always better than one (especially if you have a cold sore), but in this case it sure is!! According to their foster mama, the two together are a perfect pair! Meet Bella and Tank – a bonded pair, both FEMALE who are joined at the hip and BFF’s for life!
This will be a longer-than-usual post so that you can get to know both dogs equally as they are a package. If low-key, sweet, affectionate and gentle are your thing, this dynamic duo is for you!
Age: 9 years old
Weight: 25 pounds
Health: Very good but does need daily eye drops for dry eye and special urinary dog food
Demeanor: Sweet, affectionate, mellow/quiet, submissive, playful (at times), couch potato, social, curious
Likes: First and foremost her sister, Bella! Giving kisses and snuggling, playing tug-o-war, eating treats, going for car rides and walks, people (including kids), dogs, cats
Dislikes: Doesn’t seem to have any
Manners: Housebroken, crate and leash trained, knows many verbal commands
Fenced Yard: Not required by preferred. Tank and Bella would love to be able to play in a yard together
Tidbits from foster mama: “These two are like the dream team. Better together than separate (like peanut butter and jelly). Bella is Tank’s protector and is always keeping a watchful eye on her sister. Where one is, so is the other. Each has their own unique personality but are just as sweet and loving as can be. Not a jealous or aggressive bone in their bodies. So bonded are these two that neither will eat their food until the other starts. Bella is the caretaker – making sure Tank is okay at all times. Bella likes to play with toys but Tank prefers treats and belly rubs. They have never had an accident in the house even when left for many hours uncrated (they do not need to be crated). They prefer to sleep together on their day bed or on blankets on the floor. They will cuddle and sleep in the bed with me if I pick them up and put them there. They do not jump on furniture. I have rarely heard either of them bark or whine. They just sit patiently waiting for some attention and love. Both of them enjoy car rides and going for walks. They do their business quickly and come right back when done. They are the most well-behaved and easiest dogs I’ve ever fostered. It’s such a pleasure to take care of them (I fell in love immediately). Someone will be very lucky to have these two sweeties!”
The adoption fee for this dog is $150.00 which includes altering, heartworm testing, vaccines, micro-chipping, harness, leash and identification tags. This dog is being fostered in a private home and is not available for viewing.
