Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Yep, I’m Miss Mabel and here’s my story. I don’t quite know how I ended up at the pound a few years ago, but somehow I did. Lucky for me, some nice folks spotted me and had one of their cocker spaniel buddies come over and immediately adopt me. What a perfect life I had. Three other siblings (two of them seniors like me) and all just like me (cocker spaniels). Life for the past two years was glorious. Beautiful human, wonderful house, big back yard and even some kitty friends to hang with.
Then disaster struck about a month ago. My beautiful human was no longer. Honestly, all my dog bro’s were adopted, but I needed some time with my wonderful foster at Luv of Dogz to recover my “balance”. Well I’m doing OK now (my foster Mom says you can tell ‘cause my appetites really, really improved…). I just need a place to call home. I’m very respectful, well trained, use the dog door and am up-to-date on all my shots. I am a senior so I am looking for a mellow home. Perhaps with another senior human or two. Yeah, life has been rough the past month or so, but believe me, I’ve seen worse and have bounced back. I will so that again as long as I can find my forever home. Give me a chance, you won’t regret it. Love to you all. -- Mabel
