Facts about Scaredy Cat

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 9008911
  • Hair: Unknown

Found as a stray in the summer of 2015, Scaredy Cat is the last remaining of her litter sisters to find her forever home. She has a beautiful soft coat with marvelous marble markings. True to her name, Scaredy Cat is a timid kitty.

Affectionately known as Scaredy by her foster family, she has a great disposition. She is food motivated, so she is easily won over with lots of treats. She craves attention and once she earns your trust, she will happily paw your legs or roll over for lots of belly rubs. One of her most endearing qualities is her vocalization.  She often ‘talks back’ when she is spoken to or persistently meows to let you know she wants her dinner.

Scaredy shares her foster home with another feline companion. She is a curious playmate who is always ready for a good wrestle, a game of chase or snuggle in the sunshine.

Scaredy is on the prowl for a permanent home. She would be a purr-fect addition for a quiet and calm household with other cats.

Please note that the animals in our program are available for adoption only to individuals located in the Region of Durham area; however we are always happy to refer you to a rescue or shelter in your area. Thank you for your understanding.
