  • Breed: Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Australian Cattle Dog Mix
  • Color: White - With Black
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Buster is looking for a parent to love him.  He is 3 years old (as of 12/2015) male terrier/heeler mix. Energetic and fun, Buster gets along with other dogs. He's anxious to please and still has a lot of puppy play left in him.  He is about 40 pounds.  Buster has come a long way and is ignoring the cats. No aggression, he is simply giving the cats the right of way. He is real clever and very funny!

The adoption fee is $100 for each dog.  This includes a coupon for spaying/neutering if the dog is not old enough to be altered already. (These prices are subject to change without notice.)

About Charlyne's Pound Puppies

About Our Rescue Group...

Charlyne's Pound Puppies is a non-profit rescue group run by volunteers. Our founder, Charlyne McDaniel, began her crusade to help abandoned dogs and cats 20 years ago. We rescue animals from Thorndale, TX and the greater Austin surrounding areas.
All our dogs and cats must be spayed or neutered. We provide these animals with love, medical care, and foster homes until we can find them adoptive families.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption events most Saturdays from 11-2 at the Round Rock PetsMart (intersection of IH-35 and toll way 45 next to the Wal-Mart Supercenter and Home Depot).

Our Adoption Process...

Families who want to adopt an animal from Charlyne's Pound Puppies are asked to fill out a 2-page form to tell us a little more about themselves. They will then be interviewed by two of our volunteers. This is to make sure that the animal is going to a good home, and that he or she is a good fit for the adoptive family.
The adoption fee is $100 for dogs and cats, which includes a coupon for spaying/neutering if the animal is not old enough to have been spayed/neutered already. (These prices are subject to change without notice). Potential adopters also fill out a survey from PetsMart that allows them to track how many animals have been saved through their adopt-a-pet centers.
