My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Harper! Once you meet her there is absolutely no way you can resist her adorable face and personality. This poor girl actually found herself back at the shelter twice through no fault of her own. She was originally found as a stray and, although the family was able to keep her for a little while, they ultimately didn't have enough time and brought her to be placed up for adoption. Harper thought she had found her family again when she was adopted, but they ended up moving to a place that didn't allow dogs her size. Despite all the moving around Harper's happy demeanor has never been affected! She absolutely loved all her friends (two- and four-legged) at the shelter and eventually charmed her way into the heart of a foster volunteer that took her home. Harper has quickly made herself at home with her new foster family. She absolutely loves her Kong toy and being around her people. You can immediately tell this girl knows the inside life because she is house-, kennel-, and leash-trained. She even knows sit and down! Harper is also a professional snuggler and will trade her services to whichever loving family decides to take her home for good!

At around a year old, Harper weighs in around 40lbs and should not get TOO much bigger, making her the ideal size for an easy going family! She likes dogs and kids and, despite her young age, she is much more of a cuddler than a rough-houser. If you are looking for a dog that is completely content with a Kong and a couch, Harper is the one for you! Won't you come meet her today?

All Dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and given a physical by a veterinarian prior to adoption.

Harper is currently in foster care so, if interested, please email us today!
