Say hello to Ruth! A small little tabby female, Ruth arrived at HSDC in 2013, and shortly after gave birth to a litter of kittens. On the smaller side of cats, Ruth prefers to keep to herself as far as people are concerned, and doesn’t require much attention. She does get along with other cats very well – however! It is of note that Ruth is FIV positive. Fortunately, FIV is only contagious through severe means, and Ruth is capable of living a happy life among other cats with only a tiny risk of spreading FIV. Although very affectionate with other cats, Ruth isn’t terribly interested in human interaction, and can be shy as well as flighty when confronted. Perhaps you should come down to HSDC and win her over!
