Clyde's Story...
Meet Clyde! This handsome boy was found as a stray and brought to the shelter. We're guessing he's around 2 years old and is a corgi mix. He and his best friend Bonnie are obviously very fond of one another, and we would like to find them a home where they can continue to be together.

Clyde is a very sweet and loving boy. Prior to being adopted he will be up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and will have a microchip. Now all this handsome guy needs is YOU to take him home and love him!

Do you have room in your house and heart for two wonderful dogs like Bonnie and Clyde? The shelter is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1-5, Tuesday and Thursday from 1-8, and Saturday from 10-2. Come visit!

You can see some of our adoptable pets almost every Saturday at the Petsmart in Greensburg from noon to 6pm and some Sundays too. All adoption fees include spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clyde, a Youngwood Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Youngwood, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Youngwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
