My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

::SPECIAL NEEDS KITTY::

Stitch is a darling cat that loves attention and loves to play. His special needs are that he has trouble controlling his back legs and his bladder due to an injury and abscess near his spine when he was only nine days old which caused nerve damage. He wobbles when he walks and runs, but has absolutely no trouble getting around, even jumps and climbs. The main issue is his bladder control. He will sometimes "squirt" when excited, and even though he can use a litter box, sometimes he doesn't quite make it completely to the litter box (or all the way in it) before he pees. He can control his pooping and will make it to the litter box to do that. When he was little he wore doggy diapers but as he's gotten bigger he puts up a bit of a fight to get them on him. If you've ever had a cat with Cerebellar Hyperplasia, his symptoms are similar to that except it isn't in his brain, its nerve damage.

Stitch needs a family that deal with his special needs because he has a lot of love to give!
