My name is Reggie!

Boston Terrier Dog for adoption in Alamogordo, New Mexico - Reggie

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Reggie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Reggie's Story...
We got Reggie in 2014 from Alamogordo Animal Control.
His owner showed up with a pretty good excuse about vacation and bad dog sitter so we returned Reggie to her.
This time, after he was scheduled to get destroyed by Animal Control again, no one came to reclaim him.
His heart still needs medication, his eye is much better and doesn't need surgery anymore.

He is available for foster/Hospice or adoption.
He is about 10-14 years old
Sadly Reggie got bullied a lot by 2 very young dogs and I had to create his very own pack, called "Reggie's senior gang"
He is happy to sniff around with his buddies, he tries to play every now and then and he comes back inside to keep everyone awake with his adorable snoring.

Whoever wants to bring Reggie home has to offer at least 2 blankets - he loves to wrap himself for the night after he played peek-a-boo.
So much personality!

If you are interested in Reggie, either in Hospice care or adoption, please give us a call or send us an e-mail.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reggie, a Alamogordo Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Alamogordo, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Alamogordo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alamogordo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alamogordo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alamogordo paves the way for another one to be saved.
