Scotchie's Info...

Scotchie's Story...
Meet Scotchie! He is a wonderful young adult male pup weighing around 10 lbs. He doesn't care a bit about other dogs and would be fine as an only dog or with other dogs. Scotchie would do best in a home without children. He is looking for a BEST friend to go everywhere with and be eternally loyal! He can be a bit nervous at once but once he has chosen you he will love you FORever. He is crate and house trained and great on a leash! He is going to need a fenced in yard as he will not go potty on leash. His foster mom says if you're looking for a perfect, low-maintenance, lovable, small dog then he is the guy for you!

Scotchie is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and microchipped. For more information about adoption please email info@FORrescue.net or apply directly at http://www.FORrescue.net/dog-application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scotchie, a Huntsville Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Chihuahua for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
