Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our foster dogs live as family members in the foster home until chosen for adoption. You can contact his foster mom, Christina by calling 513-739-1363 for more information on how he can become part of your family.
Hershey has just turned 12 weeks and he is a cutie! I have three children and he is held and played with all the time. My kids love him:) Hershey loves loves loves loves to play with other dogs and is quite used to being around large dogs. He is coming along nicely with housebreaking although he still doesn't like the leash. He doesn't seem to understand why he needs something around his neck to walk...lol. Hershey loves to cuddle and romp around the house. He is a typical happy little puppy.. He currently weighs 11 pounds and the vet thinks he will be about 40 ish full grown. The vet thinks he might be a cross between a shepherd (look at those shepherd like ears!)....and a besinji.....and a lab. But who knows for sure. We think he represents many types of dogs! Hershey just got his second set of shots. The vet says he is very healthy.
We believe he is Chocolate Lab mix. He is such a special puppy. He came from the island of St. Marteen and traveled thousands of miles to get here. Where Hershey is from there are stray, starving, and injured dogs absolutely everywhere. It might be a paradise for people but certainly not animals. So a kind doctor that lives on the island part of the year brought him back to the states.
