Carli's Story...
Hi, my name is Carli. I was named after Carli Lloyd, the professional soccer player. I am a very playful puppy who gets along well with both big and small dogs as well as kids of all ages. I am crate trained and since my foster mom has a pool, I have already learned how to swim. I am working on becoming housebroken and am learning how to walk on a leash. If you’d like to learn more about me, please send an email to info@habitat4paws.org.

**Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on adoption policies, please see the "Adopt" page of our website, www.habitat4paws.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carli, a McKinney Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in McKinney, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in McKinney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McKinney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McKinney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McKinney paves the way for another one to be saved.
