Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Laycee!
Impoud #: 214
Lacey is a 1 year old female Beagle/American Foxhound mix. She was transferred to us from the Dinwiddie Shelter where she was found as a stray. Laycee is a super sweet girl but is terrified of the loud noises at the shelter. She shakes in her cage when the other dogs start barking and she is easily startled by new people. We are working with her and allowing her to sit in the office with us during slow periods at the shelter. With her sitting in the office with us, she is getting exposure to new people without the stress of the other dogs barking. Because she is easily startled we recommend a home with dog savvy children that are 5 years old and up. Laycee comes to life when she is around other quiet dogs and would most likely do well in a home with cats if she were introduced properly. Laycee walks very well on a leash and it is unknown if she is housebroken. If you are interested in Laycee please come down to the shelter and visit her today!
