Guest Dog - Bella is not yet a DREAM dog and is being listed as a courtesy to a Good Samaritan / foster parent, to try to keep her out of the overcrowded rescue and shelter system. If you are interested in making this sweetheart part of YOUR family, please let us know and we will put you in touch with Guest Dog - Bella's foster parent.

Hi! I am Guest Dog - Bella and I am looking for a new home. I was surrendered to a rescue (not DREAM) while pregnant, had my babies and then they couldn't take care of me anymore. Uh oh.... but my foster mom also volunteers for DREAM. WHEW!!! Aren't I lucky b/c they can guest post me? I am now ready for my chance at a new, permanent home! I'm ~6 yrs old and weigh ~9 lbs. I've had all my vaccines, have been spayed, & am heartworm negative. I love long trail walks, palling around with my fur-siblings, playing with my toys and snuggling with my foster Mom. My ideal home would be one with lots of property to play on with an active, outdoorsy family who has no kitties or small children. I have a respiratory issue possibly caused by a birth defect in my throat, but with meds (~$60/month) I am a perfectly happy girl. Please contact DREAM or my foster mom, Melissa for more details: melissa.chris@comcast.net
To make me the happiest dog ever, please let DREAM know you would like to know more about me.
DREAM is an all-volunteer rescue group, and we focus on the Atlanta, North Georgia and Savannah area. Because we are all volunteers, we can consider applications only within an hour of these areas. DREAM does not recommend purebred dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a doxie's back.
