My story

Hi my name is Charlie. I am a 10 year old Husky who came into the shelter when my owners could no longer care for me. I am 65 lbs and a purebred Husky with papers. I am good around other dogs and love to ride in the car. I am a friendly guy who would love a second chance a new life. We just found out I tested positive for Heart Worm and will know exactly what stage in the next week but please don't let that scare you off! The nice people of LASSI will take care of my heart worm treatment even after I'm adopted!
I am available immediately for adoption from Oceana County Animal Control.
If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this dog's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact persons in the order they are on the list. ** Ask about possible Adoption Transportation assistance if you are not in the local area.** The adoption fee is $95 and you receive certificates for $50 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccination.
