Bruno's Story...
With his lovely golden eyes, Bruno is a classic young, orange& white male cat with energy to burn, with a fearless attitude, the ability to be enthralled with any toy (or perceived toy) with joy, a taste for cat-naps in the strangest places when a sunbeam appears, and will win you over with his sheer zest for life.

Bruno is friendly, very curious, loves to explore, and is very resourceful when there is something he really wants. He loves to chase the house cats, climb or jump on everything, and as such, is a very lively cat, and would do well with active companion cat(s) in a fairly active home. He will come out to greet anyone who arrives at the house. He is not overly affectionate right now, but allows some petting and picking up. His foster mom is working on getting him more acclimated to being loved on. He gets along very well with other cats, and has previous experience with large dogs.

A previous home unfortunately let him go outdoors, and because of this, he still wants to go outside, and he tries with his distinctive meow to get his foster mom to open the door for him to let him out, but he is being trained that though he can watch the outdoors all he wants, he won’t be going outside again.

Bruno is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed rescue. The adoption donation is $165. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. Please fill out our Adoption Form if you are interested. You can also reach us by email at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruno, a Cambridge Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cambridge, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cambridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cambridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cambridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cambridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
