Kabuki's Story...
This quirky cat is Kabuki and he is looking for his loving forever home. He is a unique boy who likes to be the center of attention. He feels a need to explore his new environment but once he has the lay of the land he will trot up to you to request your affection. Kabuki will rub up against your hands or legs to get his petting needs satisfied. He is also a very playful boy and is especially fond of anything with feathers. Kabuki has been around other cats in the past and would enjoy having a feline friend in his new home. He still has a youthful energy and likes to play hard so any cats in his new home should have a similar energy level. He is confident enough that he should be fine living with a cat-savvy dog that knows better than to chase him. Kabuki is a very sweet boy but really doesn't like being carried so any children in his home need to be old enough to respect his wishes. If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind cat and think Kabuki might be the one, please come to the front to fill out an adoption application so you can spend some quality time with him today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kabuki, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
