My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Daisy (HWTH#15352A). She is a Terrier mix, DOB: 8/8/14. Daisy weighs approximately 5 pounds and stands 10 inches at the shoulders. This little girl was relinquished by a man in Rosamond, CA who got Daisy as a pup but did little to socialize her and now is unable to care for her. Daisy is a little shy when she first meets new people and a little fearful when being handled by strangers (she must be approached and handled carefully at first). Once Daisy is acquainted with you, she is extremely sweet and wants to be with you as much as possible. Daisy will need an owner willing to give this little one time to adjust to her new surroundings. Love and structure will go a long way in helping her build trust. Once Daisy has settled into her Forever home and feels secure, she will need to be socialized and taught boundaries but in a gentle, loving way to help her cope with her new environment. Once Daisy has bonded with her new owner, she will be a most devoted canine companion. She is beginning crate training and seems to get on well with other dogs.
