Rudder's Info...

I am already neutered and good with dogs.

Rudder's Story...

Rudder is a striking and sweet, shy and curious young boy looking for someone to devote himself to! He needs some time to build trust, but it’s obvious he wants to love his person or people, whoever they may be!

Handsome Rudder gets along fantastically with other dogs, and would probably benefit from being adopted into a home with a confident dog. We think he’ll get along with cats, as long as the introductions are gradual and monitored for everyone’s safety!

Rudder is slowly coming out of his shell, so he appreciates a quiet atmosphere to reassure his growing sense of confidence, and plenty of positive reinforcement for his achievements. This loving fellow is sure to be a heart-melter once he knows he is safe at home!

Rudder is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative.

His adoption fee is $100 but his grateful devotion is priceless.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rudder, a Truckee Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Truckee, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Truckee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Truckee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Truckee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Truckee paves the way for another one to be saved.
