My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Ariel.I am a cute little Yorkie mix. I was just taken into foster by VFAW. I was surrendered to an animal shelter because my owner was reported as not taking good care of me. Well, look at my BEFORE picture when they just got me! No, I certainly wasn't cared for properly that's for sure. They had to shave off most of my hair because it was so matted and full of dreadlocks. I am about 2 years old at the most. I weigh 10.8 lb. I am sweet, affectionate, loving, happy, friendly, what can I say? My foster mom thought I would be afraid, but luckily, my personality is great! I love everyone I meet! I follow everyone around and my curled tail is constantly wagging. I will sit up on my hind legs for attention. LOL I get along with all the dogs here.I ride great in the car. Quiet and calm. I am crate trained at night. I can't wait till my pretty coat grows back in and I can be properly groomed. Until then, I am anxiously awaiting a new, loving forever home where I can be spoiled and taken very good care of.
