My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

9/21/15: RAINBOW HAS BEEN ADOPTED! Rainbow is a yellow labrador retriever (possibly mixed with something but mostly lab) and she is approx 4 years old.She came in with her sister Lexie, also a yellow lab. They were surrendered to us because their original owner passed away and his parents were unable to care for the two dogs any longer due to the father becoming very ill. They have been well cared for and have been kept up to date with vaccinations, heartworm testing and on their monthly flea meds and heartworm prevention. They are healthy and very social. They walk well on a leash and seem to be very obedient. We were told that they do well with other dogs and are good with kids. We do not know about cats as they have not really been around anyThey have been kept outside for awhile so they may need to be housebroken but they are smart so that should be an easy task if you are consistent and can get them on a schedule. These girls are bonded but they should be fine to separate. We will need to get them spayed. The soonest we could get in for the spay was the end of September, unless a cancellation occurs sooner, so they will be ready to go to their new homes by the end of next month. The adoption fee for each girl is $150 and will help to cover their cost of vetting and care while with us. If interested in giving either Rainbow or Lexie (or both) a home, please submit your adoption application and your interest via email. You may also call us @ (352)493-1255 for more information or to set up a day/time to meet them.
