Pocket's Story...
At Pee Wee's Pals we work with the Phoenix police department. When the police pick up homeless people who have warrants and need to take them to jail....many times the homeless person will have a dog. At Pee Wee's we help the police and the homeless person to find their dog a furever home. This is the case with Pocket. His owner was sent to jail and Pocket had no where to go. County and the Humane Society don't pick up...so the police stop by our adoption center and drop off on the way to jail.

Pocket is a very sweet boy who is still a little scared about everything that has happened to him. Pockets adoption fee is $75. That includes shots, neuter and microchip. Please come down to our adoption center at 3018 N 16th St. in Phoenix to meet him. we are open everyday from 11am to 6pm. If possible, please fill out adoption application at peeweespals.org before coming. If you have any questions....you can call or text Anne at 602-721-3497 or Julie at 480-568-9121.
Pocket is a "pocket" size pit bull....he weighs 17lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pocket, a Phoenix Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
