Sparrow's Story...
How do you do? My name is Sparrow and I am a handsome Shepherd/Basset Hound mix gentleman born in 12/2014.

I'm sure you have noticed my dashing face from my picture! I am a nice medium size, not too big and not too small! When I came to MaxFund I was very shy, but with love and attention from staff and volunteers I am really coming out of my shell! I know with a little more time I will be a very confident young man! I hope to find a home that will provide me with daily physical and mental stimulation. I have lived with dogs before and enjoy their company!

I know I will make a loyal and loving companion! Hope to meet you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparrow, a Denver Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Basset Hound for sale in Denver, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Basset Hound breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
