Joey's Story...
Joey and his 2 brothers are Shelti/doxi/JRT/beagle mix pups. Mom is the Doxi/shelti mix. Mom weighs 12 pounds. the pups and mom were brought to Karen when the pups were 1 week old. The person who owned the mom did not want to bother with pups but did want them all to find a good home. They will be neutered when 9-10 weeks of age (they are now 6 weeks), vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, flea prevention applied and groomed. They all come with a collar and leash, food, toys and all medical records. The rescue pays the microchip enrollment fee. If interested email Karen at rotsaver@aol.com for an application. The adoption fee is $150.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joey, a Paris Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Paris, or seeking a Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in Paris.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Paris already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Paris breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Paris paves the way for another one to be saved.
