Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative, DOB: July 20, 2013
Stan is a big, very beautiful cat. Although he is a little timid at first, once he feels comfortable and gets to know you, he is a very affectionate cat who wants nothing more than to follow you around and get cuddles. Belly rubs are the highlight of his day. When you lie down, he will come and lie down next to you and will roll over on his back so he can get belly rubs. He is a quiet cat but has playful moments and loves toys filled with catnip. He loves to be brushed.
Stan loves company. As soon as you walk into the room, he starts to purr. Even if you just sit quietly with him, he will purr non-stop. When you give him food, he always wants to be petted before he goes to his bowl to start eating.
We started seeing Stan in July 2019 in the alley behind our home in downtown Montreal. When he started coming onto our second floor balcony in December, we started leaving food out for him and he would empty the bowls. In March 2020, we opened the door and instead of running away as he usually did, he came in - and the rest is history! He has never scratched or even hissed at us.
If we did not already have a cat in our home, we would have adopted Stan in a heartbeat. It broke my heart when he left to go to his foster family's home in Toronto, but he deserves a home of his own. He will be a great addition to any family.
