Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Serenity is a 2 year old spayed, female dachsund/terrier mix who was abandoned at a high kill shelter after her owners moved. In her past, she lived with small kids, dogs and cats and lives with dogs and cats in her foster home. She is housebroken and crate trained. Serenity is a very loving dog who can be shy with new people. She would prefer a quiet home and while she is fine with other dogs, can get jealous and may prefer to be the only canine in the house. She does not like chaos and would not want to be a city dog. Older respectful children would be ok, but we do not want her in a home with young, rambunctious kids or a lot of other dogs. She loves to go outside and play, but also to cuddle in your arms, If you do not like animals in the bed or on the furniture, she is not for you. Her adoption fee is
$300. If you are interested in providing this girl with a permanent home, please fill out an application at www.journeyanimalrescue.org
