URGENT: FOSTER OR PERMANENT HOME NEEDED ASAP

Katie was dumped by her owner at 9 years of age into a high-kill shelter. It is obvious that she wasn't cared for very well during her lifetime. Katie is currently being boarded in a kennel so that we could save her. But she does have heartworms and needs to be treated which we can't do while she is in that environment.

As for her personality, she is SO SWEET and CALM and great with other dogs. She would fit in anywhere but would do best in a quiet household. Dal Rescue will pay for her heartworm treatment - we just need a place for her.
