Dexter's Story...
Poor little Dexter was found by a good Samaritan in a busy parking lot. He did not have an ID tag or microchip and his owners were not able to be located. He was very thin, dirty and full of fleas. We took this boy in and now he is safe. Dexter is a very sweet boy with lots of love to give. He is a young dog, about 7-8 months old and weighs 8 pounds. He is great with other dogs and loves to play. He loves attention and giving kisses whenever he gets the chance! He walks well on a leash and is potty trained. Dexter has a very unique reddish wavy coat and is very handsome. Please give this sweet boy a forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dexter, a San Pedro Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
