Glory, Glory….Red Parker is ready for a new home. Who wants to be the lottery ticket winner for this boy!? This handsome and delightful Red Heeler mix male pup is only 7-8 months old and weighs a mere 18 pounds at the moment. Red Parker was found thrown away on a Tennessee state parkway and savaging for food. Despite overcoming a case of mange and a rough, rough start to his life, this boy never stops smiling and never stops loving! We are looking for Cattle Dog lovers; people who know this breed for all the good things and the challenges too. Heelers are not a dog for SLACKERS….no couch potatoes for these babies. They are great walkers, hikers, agility and game dogs, and fabulously devoted best friends to their humans. This boy is a favorite with his foster mom who has fostered hundreds over the years. If Parker gets high marks with her then he is a high mark kind of boy. We think Parker will be on the 25-30 pound range as an adult and small for a Heeler, but packaged like a BIG DOG filled with love and intelligence. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
