Labrador/ ??? mix puppies ready for furever homes.

Emma came to me as a stray, She was examined by my vet who discovered her to be pregnant. I scheduled her spay surgery, however, she went into labor that night. I have decided to adopt Emma and now need wonderful homes for the pups.

Seven healthy beautiful puppies were born June 26. Their Mother is a 60 lb. chocolate Labrador mix. The Father(s) could be a combination of Lab, ??.

Emma fed her puppies and was a fastidious Mother for 2 weeks, after which they were bottle fed home-made formula. They received the best of both worlds: Mother 's milk, colostrum and immunities, and lots of positive human handling being bottle fed.

The puppies are getting a good start in life. They are in “puppy pre-school” practicing simple commands, crate training and beginning house breaking. They like to be bathed, groomed, and especially towel-dried; they get their nails trimmed, etc. Each pup has received age appropriate vaccinations.

There are 4 girls and two boys:

Zena – solid gun-metal grey/black with sharpei features, strong and confident (the first one to climb out of the ex-pen), but very laid back – she will lie on your chest quietly and give you little kisses.

Xuxa (Shusha) – black with white spotted chest stain, very affectionate and playful, very confident, has a big bark, semi-Sharpei features.

Olivia – solid black with small white spot on chest, very affectionate, semi-sharpei features,

Tiger Lily – brindle, smooth-face and body – very feminine and sweet, fits her name, she is a beautiful girl.

Albius – smaller all black, mostly smooth features, very playful, cries to be picked up.

Stanley – very handsome all black, shiny, and smooth face and body – the most Labrador-looking of the pups. adoption pending

Tiger – beautiful brindle, strong confident character, loves the hose and the water.

Included with the adoption is a certificate for Spay or Neuter and a puppy training session.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lab Puppies. COURTESY POST, a Phoenix Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
