My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BEN is a 4 month old intact black male Lab who weighs 30 pounds. Ben and Jerry are very loving pups with a very sweet personality. They like to play and run around with other dogs and then take naps. They're typical puppies. They will make a wonderful addition to any family. Ben is approved for kids 6 and up. He's young enough that he would be good with cats. Very friendly with dogs. Ben and Jerry were found as strays and nobody claimed them. He is approved for kids 6+. More info soon!

Reminders:
Raising a puppy can be very rewarding but also very demanding pursuit. Puppy adopters need to ensure that the puppy:
- Has a potty/social interaction break every three or four hours until 6 months old to ensure house training success.
- Gets plenty of daily play time and walks.
- Has regular interaction with kids, adults and other dogs to ensure positive socialization.
- Puppy adoption fee is $325 and there is a spay/neuter deposit of $50 which is refundable when pup is spayed/neutered.
- Gets the vaccinations in accordance with the Lab Rescue Puppy Protocol and other care as recommended by their vet.
- Goes to a formal training program when the puppy is six months old in addition to in-home training efforts.
- Is neutered as required by six months of age (End of September 2015).

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has between 50 ~ 80 dogs available for adoption.

If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an adoption application. Within a few days of submitting an application you will hear from an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process.

An adoption fee is charged to cover the cost of veterinary care and a house check is required.
