Yeti's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Yeti's Story...
Yeti was surrendered to us when his family went through some very difficult times. This little guy is Mr. Happy though! He loves to give sloppy kisses, play or snuggle up on the couch. He gets along good with other dogs but will chase cats! I'm guessing the same would be true for small farm animals or small inside pets such as rabbits, ferrets, etc. We suggest a home with no other small pets besides dogs! Yeti is doing very good at housebreaking and crate training. He is so unique looking with his short, stubby little legs but that beautiful black and white coat (called "ticking"). Yeti is about 9 months old, weighs about 10 pounds and will be a great family dog! If you'd like to add Yeti to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application. Yeti is in foster care in West TN and will be transported once his adoption is finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yeti, a Southington Corgi/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Border Collie for sale in Southington, or seeking a Corgi/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Southington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Border Collie breeders who help with Corgi/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southington paves the way for another one to be saved.
