My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB August 21, 2012 ***DECLAWED and POLYDACTYL***

Darling Ivey is as adorable as they come! At approximately 3 years of age, she is tender, extremely gentle, loving, and just brimming with sweetness. Ivey loves attention and is very affectionate in return, often using her paw to rub against you or giving the softest of little love nips to gain your attention in the hopes that you'll shower her with love. She enjoys being in the company of her foster parents when they are home and can often be found settling herself down either beside one of them or very nearby, where it's obvious she becomes very content. Ivey can and is playful with interactive toys and also has a natural curiousity about her surroundings so she enjoys spending time exploring her foster home as well as settling down in window seats to ensure that she gets to watch all the squirrels, birds and dogs that venture into her neighbourhood.

Ivey has done extremely well being introduced to the two resident cats in her foster home, and has not been stressed by their presence at all, even upon first meeting. Given her obvious comfort with other kitties, we feel that she would do well in a home with a feline friend (provided he/she was as laid back as her due to the fact that Ivey doesn't have any aggressive tendencies) but would also be equally fine on her own provided that she was given lots of attention. We would ask that her forever home be without small children, as her love nipping may cause issue with little ones. We can't emphasize enough what a special, gentle little girl this darling is - her foster parents have fallen in love with her instantly and they know that whoever is lucky enough to meet her, will as well.
