My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Northern California Weimaraner Rescue, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Please visit www.norcalweimrescue.org to fill out our online Adoption Application

Annie, 8 y/o female Blue Weimaraner. Annie is a beautiful girl with a sweet disposition. She was confiscated from a dog hoarder and it appeared she was spending all her time in a kennel with another dog. Annie is friendly towards people and other dogs, and rides quietly in the car, so she must have had more positive life before the hoarder situation. Annie has not barked since we rescued her, except when a large, loud truck passed on the freeway, and she said "Woof!", and went back to napping. She pulls on leash initially then settles in and walks nicely. Annie is undergoing heart worm treatment and is doing well. She is ready for her new home anytime, even if she has some of her treatments remaining (treatment expenses will be covered by NCWR.) Annie is being fostered in San Francisco in a loving doggie daycare/home; she is enjoying a lot of attention, good food, dog company and daily excursions outside. This beautiful girl should have a home where she is an important part of the family; appreciated, well cared for, and where she can stay and live a long, happy life. If you are interested in adopting Annie, please fill out an adoption APPLICATION. (No fee - Senior.)
