Zannie - ADOPTION PENDING's Story...
Zannie is a Bobtail-mix, black and white, female cat, 6 years of age.

Zannie is a beautiful, loving, extremely interactive cat who absolutely loves and appreciates people. Having a larger than life presence and entirely engaging personality, she is an attention-seeking and incredibly intelligent cat who knows what she wants and when she wants it!

Playful and engaging with her antics one moment, this girl has an intuitive sense, and she’ll be spot-on there lending loving support to “her people” whenever needed. Not shy about initiating interactive play, Zannie is selective about her cat friends and demonstrates her natural hunting abilities by silently stalking toys and carrying them in her mouth. Beware as well the shadows and unsuspecting dust bunnies who enters her territory.

Happy-to-be around, interested, inquisitive, and generally quiet, she’ll talk, trill, and purr when pleased and being pampered. Zannie is looking for her forever home where she can share her love and finally settle in while lounging afternoons away snoozing on a soft bed or blanket or warm sunny perch, preferably in front of a window.

Zannie is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for a home with a moderately-active lifestyle. A very people-oriented, social and friendly cat, Zannie would prefer a home without dogs.

As with all Monroe SPCA adoptable cats, a home visit will be required prior to adoption.

Zannie currently resides at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Resale Store/The Fur Factory. You can meet her Tuesday – Friday, 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Saturday 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm, or by appointment; closed Sunday, Monday, and National Holidays.

All Monroe SPCA cats available for adoption have an adoption fee of $75.00. This fee includes the cat being spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and micro-chipped prior to adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zannie - ADOPTION PENDING, a Monroe American Bobtail cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bobtail for sale in Monroe, or seeking a American Bobtail cat from a breeder in Monroe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monroe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monroe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bobtail breeders who help with American Bobtail rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monroe paves the way for another one to be saved.
