Sassy's Info...

Sassy's Story...
Sassy is another one the babies from the hoarding rescue situation from June.
She's approximately 3 months old.

She was the most timid and nervous upon her intake into our care. She has come a long way and is now the most playful kitten in her group. She continues to grow and adjust to her new surroundings every day. She would be do best in a more quiet home where she can receive all the attention she deserves.

Adoption includes: all kitten vaccines (8wk, 12 wks and 16wks), multiple deworming/flea treatment, spay & microchipping.

Adoption by donation. Minimum donation: $150

** All potential adopters will need reliable transportation to the veterinary clinic in Burford, ON for any remaining services needed (i.e.: spay appointment at 5 1/2 months etc).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sassy, a Woodstock Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Woodstock, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Woodstock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodstock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodstock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodstock paves the way for another one to be saved.
