Here's what the humans have to say about me:
CROUTON HAS BEEN ADOPTED!This little guy is Crouton and he is quite possibly one the cutest pups we've ever seen! Crouton was originally rescued from a kill shelter in southern IL with his mother, a 25 pound Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Beagle cross, when he was just 2 weeks old. His dad was unknown, but it was most likely a Pit Bull or mix. Crouton was the only pup in the litter, so he got lots of attention (and food!) from his mama. He was born 2/4/15 and weighs in at 35 pounds right now. He's not tall at all though, barely knee high, but he is a thick, short, stocky, roly poly kind of guy! He was adopted from us when he was a young pup and has been well loved and cared for, however with his puppy enthusiasm, he's a little too overwhelming for the toddler in the home. He does wonderful with the school aged children, but like most puppies, doesn't always remember his manners with the smaller children. His family just found out they have another baby on the way, and they feel that Crouton would thrive in an environment where he can get more attention, exercise and continued training so he can be the best Crouton he can be. He can be a little timid for a minute or two, but warms up very quickly. He also does well with other dogs. Crouton is just a little mushball, squishy face of love and will make one lucky home very happy! He is currently being fostered in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago and can be seen by appointment once an application is received. • Crouton's adoption donation is $275. This donation helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Crouton from euthanasia.
• Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application and please put the name of the dog in the subject line. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder; sometimes the applications end up in there!
