My name is Yumi!

German Shepherd Dog Mix Dog for adoption in Denver, Colorado - Yumi

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Yumi's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Yumi's Story...
S/F, 1-2 Years, German Shepherd/SharPei Mix, Approx. 60 lbs.

Did you know my name means beautiful? And boy am I a beautiful blonde!
I'm loving, strong, independent, and more than anything else energetic,
so if you're looking for a friend to run, jump, climb, and play with,
I'm your girl!

I came from another Shelter where the time for my puppies and I was
running out but the kind people at MaxFund came and gave us a chance for
a new life. I used to be an alley dog and am still extremely curious
about everything, everyone, and everywhere but am ready to have a family
that is as full of life as I am.

I like to have all the attention and would probably do best in an only
dog house hold but I'm not sure if I like or dislike other dogs and cats
yet. I could use some training to help me figure out this world, but if
you want to have some fun why don't you come on down and see what kind
of adventures we can go on together? I can't wait to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yumi, a Denver German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Denver, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
