My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack was found as a stray dog and spent three weeks at a shelter before he was rescued and moved to a foster home. Foster mom can't understand why someone wouldn't try to find this great dog. Jack is about 3 years old and weighs 70 pounds and looks very much like a purebred lab. He is a perfect house guest--he doesn't need to be kenneled as his house manners are great. He is house trained, walks great on a leash, and gets along wonderfully with very young children and other dogs. Jack is mellow, not hyper at all but he sure loves going to the lake and is a great swimmer. His only fault, and no doubt the reason he was lost, is that he can climb a 5 foot chain link fence with ease. He will need either a privacy fence, electric fence, or a lead when unsupervised. Jack is with a 501c3 rescue. His adoption fee is $225 to cover his neuter, heartworm test and pill, shots, worming, and microchip.
